Rules of procedure
The Rules
Short version: it’s a joke with real money attached, so read this part seriously.
File a petitionArt. I — Questions, frequently shouted
What is a petition coin?
A memecoin whose whole identity is one sentence: what you demand of pump.fun. The sentence goes in the metadata and on the poster. Holding it is your signature. That's the joke, and also the whole product.
Is this launching on pump.fun?
Mostly, yes. A petition belongs on the doorstep of whoever it's addressed to. pump.fun coins are paired to $PETITION, the main coin, so buying a petition also buys $PETITION. If you'd rather boycott them and not pay pump.fun a single fee, Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve is the other road, also paired to $PETITION. Both use each protocol's public programs.
What are holder rewards?
Every petition coin launched on pump.fun is a holder-reward coin: 0.3% of every trade goes to the people holding it, paid out automatically by pump.fun, not by us. It's set when the coin is created and can't be changed afterwards. pump.fun decides who qualifies and when it pays. The filer earns no trading fee from it at all. Meteora coins have no holder rewards.
Why is everything paired to $PETITION?
So every protest adds up to one bigger one. A petition coin is priced in $PETITION, so its trades move through $PETITION too, and if $PETITION falls, every petition coin priced in it falls with it. Until $PETITION is live, petitions pair with SOL, and pump.fun pays holders its standard rate instead of 0.3%.
Does petition.trade hold my funds or keys?
No. Your wallet signs every transaction. The only keys our server ever holds are brand-new ones made for your coin: its mint key and, on Meteora, a curve config key. They exist between you pressing the stamp and the launch landing, can only co-sign the exact transaction you approved, and are then deleted.
What's co-signing?
A free, off-chain signature: your wallet signs a message that says you agree. No transaction, no fee, no token. It's counted on the poster, and anybody can verify it came from your wallet.
And the hand-drawn wall?
Petition №0000. No wallet needed. You draw, it goes on the wall. It's a real record, and exactly as legally binding as you'd expect.
What does it cost to launch?
Network fees and rent, which vary by route, plus any dev buy you choose. petition.trade adds no launch fee of its own. Your wallet shows the true cost before you approve anything.
What are the posters marked SPECIMEN?
Samples so you can see what the Wall looks like. They aren't coins, have no mint and can't be bought. Anything without that mark is a real on-chain launch.
Did pump.fun ever airdrop?
Not that we can find. The airdrop was called "coming soon" around the July 2025 ICO, and we're still looking at the mailbox. If it lands, we'll happily amend the record.
Does holding a petition coin get me an airdrop?
No. Not from pump.fun, not from us, not from anyone. petition.trade has no airdrop and promises none. If somebody tells you otherwise, or sends you a claim link, assume it's a scam.
Will pump.fun read my petition?
Perhaps.
Art. II — The routes
pump.fun
We file it on their own curve, where they can't miss it. Every petition coin trades against $PETITION, so each buy also buys the main coin, and 0.3% of every trade goes back to the people holding it.
- Paired with
- $PETITION
- Holder rewards
- 0.3% of every trade
- Paid out
- Automatically, by pump.fun
- Graduates to
- PumpSwap
Meteora
Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve, paired to $PETITION. Migrates into a DAMM v2 pool once the curve fills up. pump.fun takes no fees here, and there are no holder rewards.
- Paired with
- $PETITION
- Holder rewards
- None
- Trade fee
- 1% on the curve
- Graduates to
- Meteora DAMM v2
Protocols set their own fees and can change them. Your wallet’s preview is the final word on a transaction.
Art. III — Conduct at the march
- Protest the platform. Don’t target private people, and don’t state things as fact that you can’t back up.
- Don’t pose as a real person, company or project. Satire needs to read as satire.
- No hate, threats, or sexual content involving minors. We’ll take it off the Wall. The chain, unfortunately, is forever.
- Don’t promise anybody a return or an airdrop. You don’t have either to promise.
Art. IV — The fine print
petition.trade is an independent interface for public Solana programs. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by pump.fun or Meteora. Their names identify the services they provide or the target of the parody.
Petition coins are memecoins. They have no intrinsic value, no team obligations, and no roadmap, and they will usually lose value. Don’t put in anything you can’t afford to lose. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto may be restricted where you live, and following your local law is on you.
Petitions are written by their filers and don’t reflect the views of petition.trade. On-chain transactions can’t be reversed. The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
